In the 70s and early  - mid 80s, Tokai built the best replica Stratocasters in the world.
The detail was so exact that Fender "requested" they change their design, as it was a little too close to the original.
These guitars are exact reproductions of a 1962 Fender Stratocaster, right down to the wiring and pickup windings.

This one is a real beauty.

A little history.

From the legendary Lawsuit era. Springys are among the most collectible made in Japan replica guitars and rarely appear for sale on ebay and the net.
Springys have the (in)famous "Spaghetti" style Tokai logo, designed to emulate the Fender logo. Also instead of Fenders headstock text "with synchronised tremolo" Tokai reads "this is the exact replica of the good old strat" Subsequent Tokai strat replicas "Goldstar" changed the wording to avoid the ire of Fender.

The highly rated U stamp pickups and even better E stamp. Offer all the delicate
bell tones and raging attack you want from a high end Stratocaster.
Offering the sounds of Nile Rodgers, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix at a flick of a 5-way selector.
Strat maestro Philip Sayce rates these guitars so highly he uses them as stand-ins for his battered '63 model called "Mother"

These guitars are a great investment for players and collectors, truly fabulous guitars.
